Dr. Martin Luther King once stated that “ A mind is a terrible thing to waste." This is so true because a mind with an education is a powerful tool to use and is a solid foundation of one's success. No matter what part of the socioeconomic spectrum a person may happen to be categorized in, having a solid education can help one overcome any type of struggle. Most children when they are young dream of being a firefighter, police officer, doctor, lawyer, or even a veterinarian. But, when children get older, their dreams are altered by people that they come in contact with, their environment, and lack of motivation, or motivators. As a educator, I will motivate my students to become a positive product of their imaginations, instead of becoming a product of their environments.
